Al-Jouf: 100,000 Beneficiaries of Health Awareness Campaigns

According to Al-Jouf Health Affairs, the number of beneficiaries of the health awareness campaigns, including the National Breast Cancer Early Detection Campaign, which was implemented during this month of October under the theme (#وين_كنت_وين_صرت), which means (#Your-situation-before-and-now), has reached 100,000 beneficiaries. During the campaigns, an awareness exhibition was held including several corners, pavilions and awareness activities. In addition, 1000 pink balloons were released and the theme of the event was decorated with 1000 flowers. The exhibition also included a public health pavilion to shed light on the importance of breast cancer control program and the efforts exerted to encourage women to perform early detection.  

It also includes an oncology center pavilion through which medical consultations are provided to visitors, and a radiology pavilion through which the mammogram device and early detection method are introduced. Vital signs of diabetes, pressure, and weight mass were also measured for visitors. In addition, the awareness team have paid field visits to urge early detection. The Affairs has organized awareness exhibitions and campaigns at its different sectors, including hospitals and healthcare centers, as well as private centers. Educational material code was shown on road signs and squares were lighted pink in cooperation with Al-Jouf municipality.
