According to King Saud Medical City, over 1,900,000 prescriptions have been dispensed until the end of the 3rd quarter of this year. Also, the city is ranked first in terms of the number of medication errors recorded during the last month of April, through the Medication Errors Reporting System at MOH. It pointed out that, during this period, the pharmacy residency program has taken part in the 4th annual meeting of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society (SIPHA 2021), which attracts leading countries in the field of pharmacology. Also, the clinical residency program has participated in the annual international conference of the Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy (SSCP). The conference focused on clinical pharmacy practices and provided several awareness lectures and scientific symposiums and the latest treatment protocols.
It added that 12,109 patients have benefited from the prescriptions delivery service, during the same period.
