According to the Northern Border Health Affairs, over the first half of this year, affiliated hospitals have served 283,321 emergencies, with 21,323 at North Medical Tower, 47,499 at Prince Abdulaziz bin Musa'ed Hospital, 98,453 at Rafhaa Central Hospital, 20,847 at Turaif General Hospital, 43,212 at Al-'Uwailiqiyah Hospital, 12,592 at Sho'bat Nisab Hospital, 34,304 at Maternity and Children Hospital-Arar, 4,037 at Jadidat Arar Hospital, in addition to 1,054 emergencies at Eradah Complex for Mental Health.
It is noted that the Northern Borders Health Affairs features 10 specialized medical centers (a cardiac center, 3 diabetes centers, 3 kidney centers, and 3 dental centers), as well as 11 hospitals with a 1,410-bed capacity, which are enhanced with a number of delicate medical specialties, such as: neurosurgery, heart surgery, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, and others. Besides, the Affairs has 45 primary healthcare centers.
