According to Al-Qassim Health Affairs, during the past month of August, 1,743 inspection tours have been conducted through 32 malls, 212 retail stores, restaurants, cafes, hair salons, and grocery stores, with a view to ensuring their compliance with precautionary measures to stop the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). They also included 5 tours to hotels, furnished apartments, and labor accommodations, 3 tours to recreational events in the region, and 3 to markets at a number of locations across the region’s cities and governorates.
