According to Jazan Health Affair, over 48,916 prescriptions were dispensed through ‘Wasfaty’ service, with 178 health facilities being activated to provide the service, during the last month of August.
It indicated that the cumulative number of prescriptions dispensed through the service since its launch until the end of the past August reached 655,564 prescriptions.
It is to be noted that the ‘Wasfaty’ service is an electronic service with the aim of improving health services, ensuring the availability of medicines for beneficiaries, and facilitating prescription dispensing from the nearest community pharmacy under contract with MOH.
