The Ministry of Health (MOH) has launched ‘Rahma’ (Mercy) initiative to honor the nursing staff members distinguished in patient experience. This initiative is one of many MOH’s qualitative initiatives to develop nursing staffs. It aims to shed light on distinguished establishments in the aspects of nursing care (ER, inpatient and outpatient clinics, and PHCs) based on the opinions of beneficiaries the through ‘Patient Experience Assessment’ program.
His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, delivered a speech to nursing cadres in health establishments that have achieved excellence in terms of nursing performance during the first quarter of this year. “On this occasion, I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation for your generous medical efforts and care for patients, and your keenness on ensuring they are satisfied. It is no surprise that you exert this much effort and work with a lot of conscience. We are used to seeing this dedication from your side,” Dr. Al-Rabiah said.
He added that nursing care is one of the mainstays of a satisfying experience for patients and is essential for quality health care.
