The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that the COVID-19 vaccines approved in the Kingdom are safe and effective, highlighting the importance of taking two doses of the vaccine to prevent complications of the fast-spreading Delta variant, Allah Willing.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 406 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 541,610 confirmed cases, including 5,242 active cases and 1,162 critical cases.
In addition, 710 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 527,899 recoveries. Also, 11 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,469, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
