The Ministry of Health (MOH), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE), has launched earlier this week a 4-week awareness campaign under the theme: «My Health in My School».
Coinciding with students' readiness to return to school, the campaign aims to raise awareness among students and their parents, introduce school health initiatives to them, raise students' awareness about the precautionary measures to be followed, as well as promoting their health practices. Through MOH’s page on Twitter, its awareness platform «Live Well», in addition to various social networking sites, MOH will publish various awareness publications of the campaign, focusing on several health topics, including healthy sleep, breakfast, eye health, COVID-19 prevention, drinking water, and others.
It is noted that this campaign comes in continuation of MOH’s efforts to educate all members of society about the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles; to preserve their health and safety, as well as protecting themselves against diseases.
