Al-Jouf: 4,800 Inspection Tours Conducted to Ensure Observance of COVID-19 Precautions

According to Al-Jouf Health Affairs, over the first half of this year, 4,800 inspection tours have been conducted to ensure implementation of the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). It has also conducted 100 campaigns and initiatives to urge people to get the COVID-19 vaccine with the participation of 300 volunteers.

Also, the Affairs has participated in many events in the region to implement the precautionary and preventive measures and urge visitors to abide by them through the screening points, awareness brochures and field tours. It has also carried out several tours to commercial centers, popular markets, restaurants, cafes and public parks to urge visitors and monitor their adherence to preventive measures such as social distancing and wearing masks.  

It added that a number of awareness campaigns were launched to urge community members to get the COVID-19 vaccine. It has recently launched “Because You Matter” campaign to urge the elderly to get the vaccine and designated a vaccination center within the activities of the (Al-Jouf Olive) Festival. It has also launched “Because You Are a Hero” campaign for those between 12-18 years, and a number of gifts were presented to those who got vaccinated, and “Your Appointment Is Ready” campaign to notify this category that their appointments are booked via “Sehhaty” app.
