15 August 2021

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has launched the COVID-19 In-Home Vaccination Service for the elderly (aged 70 years or older); to maintain their health and safety and to protect them against COVID-19 complications , as well as saving them the burden of visiting vaccination centers to get the vaccine.

"The service will be provided by specialized medical teams; in such a way that ensures providing that age group the necessary health care while they are among their families, meanwhile applying the precautionary measures," stated MOH.
It is worth mentioning that since the start of the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign, MOH has targeted the elderly, as one of its priority groups, and launched the Priority «Awlawia» Service; enabling all citizens and residents aged 75 years or older to rapidly get COVID-19 vaccine through visiting the nearest vaccination center across all regions and governorates of the Kingdom, without registration or prior appointments.
