According to Al-Qunfudhah Health Affairs, over the first half of this year, dental clinics of affiliated hospitals and healthcare centers have served more than 18,000 patients, with 12,811 at initial examination clinic, and 5,214 at follow-up clinic, 5,599 at fillings and cosmetic dentistry clinics, 2,460 at endodontics clinic, 3,88 at pediatric dentistry, 1,624 at periodontics clinic, and 2,833 patients at maxillofacial surgery clinic.
It is worth mentioning that, over the same period, the Affairs has implemented several field initiatives, including the comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation and the specialized dental clinics (in pediatric dentistry); which aims to reduce patient waiting lists. Also, the Affairs will soon launch another initiative in oral and maxillofacial surgery that will, also, reduce patient waiting lists, Allah Willing.
