According to Al-Ahsa Medical Complex (AMC), 49,000 prescriptions were dispensed through ‘Wasfaty’ service in June 2021, bringing the total prescriptions dispensed in the region through this service since its launch to 486,000.
AMC has recently activated ‘Wasfaty’ service for the Home Medicine Program. This brings the total health facilities supporting the service to 61 facilities, including 58 primary healthcare centers (PHCs), in addition to Al-Jafr General Hospital, and Al-Oyoun City Hospital. AMC seeks to support all health facilities in Al-Ahsa with the above-mentioned service.
Noteworthy, ‘Wasfaty’ service aims to promote health services, by linking hospitals and PMCs to pharmacies, to ensure availability of medicines, and to be delivered to the beneficiary in due time by the closest pharmacy in contract with MOH.
