Moreover, several initiatives were activated during that period, including a virtual scientific symposium for health practitioners, which addressed the latest health protocols and developments, as well as the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine, in addition to several lectures on treatment methods of chronic diseases. Furthermore, the role of pharmacists in exit halls was activated, as they would provide pharmaceutical advice to patients. In addition, the total number of beneficiaries of the medication mail delivery service amounted to 9,544 during that period.

Noteworthy, the Pharmaceutical Services Department provides its services to inpatients, emergency department patients, as well as clinic outpatients.
