COVID-19 Vaccines Over 90% Effective, MOH Says

The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that protection against COVID-19 complications reaches more than 90%, Allah Willing, by taking the vaccine, calling on everyone to take the initiative to register in «Sehhaty» App. to obtain the vaccine; in order to maintain the health and safety of all society members.

According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,567 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 486,106 confirmed cases, including 11,724 active cases and 1,406 critical cases.

In addition, 1,032 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 466,578 recoveries. Also, 15 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,804, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 109,199 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
