According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,255 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 479,390 confirmed cases, including 11,322 active cases and 1,451 critical cases.
It has advised to continue adhering to precautionary measures after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, including wearing face masks and maintaining physical distancing, highlighting that the vaccine significantly contributes to reducing infection, but does not prevent it, especially since the virus is still spreading.
In addition, 1,247 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 460,338 recoveries. Also, 14 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,730, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
