According to Taif Health Affairs, King Faisal Medical Complex- Taif has delivered prescriptions to 15,000 patients’ homes through the pharmaceutical post service and in coordination with the Saudi Post. The step aims to serve patients at their homes without the need to visit the healthcare facility to receive the medicines. The prescription delivery request includes the patient’s name, file number, mobile number, address, and clinic. The delivery service targets all prescriptions except the central and controlled medications. The medicines will be delivered within a period not exceeding 5 days using specially designed containers.
