The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that severe and critical complications of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) will be prevented, Allah Willing, by taking COVID-19 vaccines, highlighting that the vaccines are safe and highly effective.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,239 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 469,414 confirmed cases, including 10,606 active cases and 1,549 critical cases.
In addition, 932 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 451,187 recoveries. Also, 15 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,621, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 90,874 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
