MOH Records 1,144 COVID-19 New Cases, Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of continuation to adhere to precautionary measures, including wearing face-masks and maintaining physical distancing, even after having the vaccine, highlighting that the vaccine significantly contributes to reducing infection, but does not prevent it, especially since the virus is still spreading. 

According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,144 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 456,562 confirmed cases, including 9,663 active cases and 1,539 critical cases.

In addition, 1,253 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 439,459 recoveries. Also, 16 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,440, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. 

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
