MOH Records 1,269 COVID-19 New Cases, Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions during Summer Vacation and Travelling

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of adherence to precautionary measures, including wearing face-masks, avoiding shaking hands, and maintaining physical distancing during summer vacation and travelling; to stop the spread of the virus for maintaining the health and safety of all members of society.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,269 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 452,956 confirmed cases, including 10,043 active cases and 1,489 critical cases.

In addition, 1,081 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 435,520 recoveries. Also, 16 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,393, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 93,209 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
