The Health Minister, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, has inaugurated the disclosure document 2021, and in his speech broadcasted through the ministry’s internal communication, he said, “I am pleased to launch the disclosure document 2021 for the third consecutive year. We in the Ministry of Health are proud to be the first government sector to prepare and implement an electronic document for employee disclosure of any cases of conflict of interest.”
He pointed out that the disclosure rate in 2019, the first year of the document launch, has exceeded 97%, and in the following year, amid the Coronavirus pandemic and the challenges that were faced, it was necessary to launch the 2020 disclosure document for a period of less than a year, with a disclosure rate of 94% reflected in the completion of more than 258,000 documents on “Mawarid” system. Such achievement wouldn't have been possible without a concerted effort by the health heroes and disclosure ambassadors and their high sense of responsibility that strengthens confidence between MOH’s staff and customers, including citizens and residents, he added.
Al-Rabiah added, “And since you are partners of this success, I find it a good opportunity to call upon you to continue making disclosure and transparency a feature that enhances and increases the confidence of all who deal with us, and confirms the leadership and sustainability of the Ministry in promoting integrity and transparency in government business.”
“I am also proud to be the first one to disclose in this year document, wishing everyone continued success, and for our deeds to be sincere for the sake of Allah”, He concluded.
