 Arar: 40,000+ Beneficiaries of Anti-Smoking Clinics

According to the Northern Borders Health Affairs, the anti-smoking clinics complex in Arar, over the first quarter of this year, has provided its services to more than 40,000 beneficiaries, and opened 592 new files. The complex received 1,670 persons to continue their treatment in the clinics, implemented 100 visits to the sales outlet, and provided 140 lectures for 30,870 beneficiaries, it added. Also, there were 9,420 beneficiaries of the awareness services provided in the complex. 

It is noteworthy that the Affairs features 10 specialized medical centers (a cardiac center, 3 diabetes centers, 3 kidney centers, and 3 dental centers), as well as 11 hospitals with a 1,410-bed capacity, which are enhanced with a number of delicate medical specialties, such as neurosurgery, heart surgery, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, and others. Besides, the Affairs has 45 primary healthcare centers.
