MOH Records 986 COVID-19 New Cases, Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions to Stop the Virus

​​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of adherence to precautionary measures, including maintaining wearing face-masks, avoiding shaking hands, as well as maintaining physical distancing; to stop the spread of the virus for the safety of all society members.

According to MOH's latest statistics, 986 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 427,370 confirmed cases, including 9,469 active cases and 1,341 critical cases.

In addition, 1,076 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 410,816 recoveries. Also, 13 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,085, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 70,822 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
