According to Taif Health Affairs, during the first quarter of this year, the Specialist Dental Center has provided its services to 12,083 beneficiaries, at a rate of 183 patients a day.
It added that 2,679 patients were served by the oral and maxillofacial clinic, 846 by periodontal surgery clinic, 2,558 by prosthodontics clinic, 1,329 by endodontic and nerve treatment clinic and 1,471 kids by the pediatric dental clinic. Also, the center followed-up treatment of 1,329 old cases, conducted 10,650 radiological examinations, and the Oral and Dental Health Department served 1,871 cases.
It is noteworthy that the center, which is enhanced with the most advanced medical equipment and medical cadres specialized in delicate specialties, is one of the specialized centers receiving referrals from the primary healthcare centers.
