The Regional Laboratory in the Eastern Region, since the COVID-19 pandemic began, has conducted 1,965,000 Coronavirus tests.
According to the Eastern Health Affairs, such large number of Coronavirus testing reflects the efforts exerted by the staff of the Regional and Chinese Laboratories. It also reflects the lab’s highly qualified staff and state-of-the-art devices.
It is noteworthy that the Regional Laboratory- Dammam has a number of specialists, consultants and technicians in different specialties. It receives citizens and residents around the clock. Also, the lab has obtained the accreditation of the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutes (CBAHI), for the third consecutive time; after meeting the accreditation standards and requirements.
