MOH Reiterates Call for Adherence to Precautions to Stop the Virus

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of adherence to precautionary measures, including wearing face-masks, avoiding shaking hands, as well as maintaining physical distancing; to stop the spread of the virus. Also, MOH has highlighted that almost 6 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered through over 587 vaccination centers across the Kingdom. Hence, MOH has called upon everyone to take the vaccine by registering via «Sehaty» app; to maintain the health and safety of all members of society.

According to MOH's latest statistics, 904 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 396,758 confirmed cases, including 7,823 active cases and 898 critical cases.

In addition, 540 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 382,198 recoveries. Also, 9 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,737, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 71,044 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
