Jazan Health Affairs, during the first quarter of the current year, has carried out 17,055 mail deliveries of medicines to patients’ homes. The beneficiaries of the service include home care patients, heart patients, diabetics, chronic disease patients who need to refill their prescriptions frequently, as well as virtual clinic patients and service seekers from other clinics.
The service aims to deliver the medications to patients’ homes without the need to visit the hospitals, amid precautionary measures, including keeping the prescriptions in specially designed containers to ensure drug quality when delivered to the beneficiaries.
