According to Al-Baha Health Affairs, the Pharmaceutical Care Department of King Fahad Hospital, over the past week, has dispensed more than 10,000 prescriptions through 44 health practitioners, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
It pointed out that 1,946 prescriptions were dispensed by the outpatient pharmacy, 8,280 by the inpatient pharmacy, 575 by the emergency pharmacy, with an average of three drugs per prescription. Also, 315 prescriptions were dispensed for solution preparation, with an average of one drug per prescription.
It is noteworthy that the hospital has a capacity of 404 beds.
