MOH Still Observes Spike in Active and Critical Cases

The Ministry of Health (MOH) still observes remarkable spike in active and critical cases, recommending all people to get COVID-19 vaccine; to protect themselves against the virus and its complications. Also, MOH reiterated that the vaccine is a safe and effective way to get rid of infectious diseases, Allah Willing.


According to MOH, 351 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 382,059 confirmed cases, including 3,040 active cases, receiving the necessary medical care. Of these, there are 553 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable. In addition, 239 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 372,456 recoveries, all praise is due to Allah. Also, 7 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,563, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 44,953 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
