In continuation of the development plans of the laboratories, blood bank and regional laboratory department, Al-Qunfudah Health Affairs has recently introduced two devices for the anatomy department, in order to improve diagnostic methods to the highest levels of quality and accuracy. They include immunohistochemical screening device through which the cancerous mutated cells are diagnosed and the severity, degree, and stage of tumors are confirmed in addition to confirming the diagnosis of cases with viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infections. Such a step will help to save time and effort to send samples to other hospitals, whereas a case will only be referred to oncology hospitals to complete treatment.
