According to Najran Health Affairs, the outpatient clinics of the region’s hospitals have provided their services to 33,936 beneficiaries, during the past January.
It added that 13,849 patients were served by King Khaled Hospital, 4,394 by Najran General Hospital, 1,362 by Eradah Complex for Mental Health, 3,823 by Sharourah General Hospital and 2,235 by Habona General Hospital. In addition, consultation services were provided to 4,348 patients by Maternity and Children Hospital, 1,580 by Thar General Hospital, 880 by Yadmah General Hospital and to 611 patients by Badr Al-Janoub Hospital Also, the outpatient clinics of Khabash General Hospital have received 854 patients.
It is noteworthy that the Affairs, over the past year, has enhanced its health facilities with 186 consultants, specialist, and resident physicians in a number of specialties, including internal medicine, intensive care, public health, cardiology, anesthesia, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, in addition to general specialties.
This comes in continuation of the Affairs’ efforts and improvement programs to raise the level of performance, upgrade therapeutic and medical services provided to patients throughout all its health sectors, and reduce referrals to hospitals and specialized centers outside the region. These qualified medical cadres have conducted quality surgeries in the specialties of the heart, oncology, neurosurgery, and eyes.
