The Health Minister, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah has honored winners of Ehsan Award during the virtual ceremony organized today (Wednesday). Addressing the ceremony, he said that the patient experience is one of the most important standards of healthcare quality and the main indicator of the success of health institutions. MOH is keen to encourage and stimulate the patient experience practices and to promote the healthcare culture that makes humans the focal point of the services, in order to realize beneficiaries’ needs, enhance their role, and enabling them to involve in the development of the healthcare system.
Noteworthy, the Ehsan Award is one of the initiatives launched by the patient experience center to promote human-centered care and making the beneficiary the center of the services by motivating facilities and employees to innovate and excel in the field of patient experience improvement and adopting the principle of charity in healthcare. The award focuses on basic values such as patient first, positive competitiveness, team spirit, justice and transparency and excellence and creativity; thus contributing to bringing about a positive impact in the healthcare concept and boosting partnership with beneficiaries.
