According to Al-Baha Health Affairs, the Cardiac Center of King Fahad Hospital, over the past year, has provided its health services to 1,000 beneficiaries. Also, the center conducted 1.276 interventional catheterizations, 951 diagnostic catheterizations, installed 60 temporary and permanent cardiac pacemakers, five of which were with defibrillators, in addition to 80 arteriography procedures.
Noteworthy, a new heart center has recently been inaugurated, which contains two operating rooms, one of which contains a hybrid device that specializes in open-heart operations and cardiac catheterization, in addition to 7 cardiac care rooms, and 7-bed recovery rooms.
