According to King Saud Medical City, over the past year, outpatient clinics have recorded 400,000 appointments in various medical specialties. Also, during the same period, the hospital has conducted more than 12,000 surgeries in each of the General Hospital, Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Children Hospital and Dental Hospital, in the following specialties: orthopedics, injuries, general surgery, obesity, urology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, brain and nerves, in addition to maternity, childbirth and child surgeries.
It said that the city has received 86,479 emergencies, conducted 194 medical imaging, including x-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, nuclear imaging, low-beam mammography and endoscopy, and arteriovenous imaging and catheterization with dye, and angiography. In addition, the maternity and children hospital has witnessed the birth of 5,838 babies, during the same year.
