According to Jazan Health Affairs, the Cardiac Center of Prince Muhammed bin Nasser Hospital, over the past year, has performed 1,296 diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations, including 630 diagnostics, 141 balloon angioplasties, 489 coronary stenting procedures.
Also, the center performed 12 balloon valve expansion, 16 therapeutic catheter procedure to close the inter-parietal holes between the atria and ventricles of patients with heart disease, as well as 8 other catheter procedures.
