According to Jazan Health Affairs, during the past year, the hospitals’ surgery departments and one-day surgery centers have performed 20,024 surgical operations. The number of open surgical procedures at the one-day surgery centers (minor and major emergency, and scheduled) amounted to 2,439 surgeries, and the number of laparoscopic surgeries (minor and major emergency, and scheduled) reached 404.
It added that the number of surgical procedures (minor and major emergency and scheduled) reached 16,331 surgeries and the number of laparoscopic surgeries (minor and major emergency, and scheduled) reached 850.
