In parallel with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has activated several awareness activities about the services it provides to them.
Through an infographic published on its Twitter page and its awareness platform: # Live Well, MOH has outlined all services provided to this category, including a guideline for persons with disabilities. The guideline includes the most important terminologies about disability such as medical rehabilitation, extended care, and disabled health rights. The services provided to this category include medical services, early diagnosis and intervention programs, priority offices in hospitals, the national program for developmental and behavioral disorders, the mechanism for obtaining them, the location of those services, in addition to prosthetic device sections and their locations and services.
