Asir Health Affairs said that over 283,000 people benefited from the services of specialized dental clinics and centers in Asir last year. Additional services were provided, including setting a fixed day for people with special needs who require dental care under general anesthesia at Asir Central Hospital and Khamis Mushait Hospital.
Furthermore, Asir Health Affairs has trained several dental assistants to prepare them to work at the clinics. It also implemented a training program for resident dentists in the specialty of endodontics at Abha Specialized Dental Center and Khamis Mushait Specialized Dental Center.
56 digital radiology sensors have been supplied in specialized dental centers and primary healthcare centers in the region, within the framework of improving the service quality at dental clinics and laboratories. Furthermore, over 100 doctors have been directed to fill up the spots needed across dental centers and clinics in the region.
