The Regional Laboratory and Central Blood Bank- Al-Baha, for the second consecutive time, has obtained the accreditation of the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), after meeting the accreditation standards of quality and all other requirements.
It is noteworthy that the Regional Laboratory and Central Blood Bank in Al-Baha has provided the region’s hospitals with around 2,000 blood units during this year, and organized 23 blood donation campaigns as well as setting up permanent blood donation venues at Raghadan Forest during summer. Also, it has conducted over 560,000 examinations, and the number of examinations at all region’s labs has amounted to more than 4 million during the same period.
