According to Al-Qunfudah Health Affairs, the Radiology Department of South Al-Qunfudah General Hospital has been enhanced with state-of-the-art equipment, including bone densitometry, and CT machine. Also, the old X-ray machine has been replaced with a new one.
The hospital, over the past two years, has conducted around 61,000 radiological examinations, including CT scans, sonograms, mammography, bone density, regular x-rays, and the radiography services are provided through 12 different portable and fixed X-ray imaging equipment. The department has an archiving system to save images, writing reports, and facilitate access to them. Also, a WhatsApp number has been assigned to communicate with patients and facilitate service provision to them.
