According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a group of behavioral symptoms that include inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. Through an introductory infographic published on its Twitter page and its awareness platform: # Live Well, and in collaboration with the Saudi ADHD Society (Ishraq), MOH has pointed out that such disorders spread at high rates until the age of adults, and this disease can only be diagnosed between 6-12 years.
“Genetic-related factors are major causes of this disease, and its treatment is just through educational support for parents and their children, while medical intervention and psychological treatment are conducted when necessary,” stated MOH.
