According to Al-Jouf Health Affairs, the training center of King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital has launched the first batch of Internal Medicine Residency Program, in preparation for the Saudi Fellowship, accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).

“The program comes as part of previous programs provided by the training and educational centers affiliated to hospitals and centers in the region, after meeting the SCHS accreditation standards and regulations, as well as providing the training and qualification environment and equipment, in line with international standards,” stated the Affairs.

It is worth mentioning that the Affairs seeks, out of its scientific, medical and social responsibilities, to increase accreditation programs, and to prepare and organize training programs; with a view to achieving the highest levels of competency for national cadres in various medical specialties and delicate specialties. This would positively reflect on the quality of health services provided to patients.
