Prince Sultan Cardiac Center (PSCC)-Al-Ahsa has obtained the Global Healthcare Accreditation (GHA); thus being the first accredited center in applying patient and worker safety standards, and fully achieving precautions related to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
It is noted that PSCC (with a 73-bed capacity) features an elite of senior physicians, nurses, and technicians, providing specialized cardiac care services for all cardiac patients. Also, the center has witnessed over the past two years an excellence in medical services and qualitative surgeries, to be added to its achievement series. The center has performed 33 heart transplant surgeries with a 100% success rate, as well as introducing the catheter cautery technology for treatment of heart rhythm problems (heart arrhythmias).
