Praise be to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger.
On this glorious day, we witness an auspicious occasion, which is the anniversary of unification of our country by its founder the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud, May Allah make his abode in Paradise.
Today, we are rightly proud of the development process initiated by the founder and continued by his righteous sons until the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, May Allah protect them.
Thanks to Allah, the Kingdom is witnessing a comprehensive development in all aspects of life for the country development and providing decent livelihood for its citizens.
By Allah’s Grace, the generous support provided to the health sector by our wise leadership has contributed to upgrading the performance at the health facilities and improving the health services provided to citizens. Recently, a number of achievements have been realized in the health sector, including but not limited to launching specialized centers, which included 24 cardiac catheterization centers, 17 oncology centers, 17 obesity centers, 25 diabetes centers and 144 kidney centers across the Kingdom. In addition, several new hospitals have been inaugurated or developed to increase their capacity, with the aim of facilitating access to health services and reducing referral of patients outside the region. Also, MOH has implemented a number of initiatives to increase life expectancy of citizens by promoting health and quality of life and providing integrated healthcare.
In line with the national transformation program, MOH has launched a number of initiatives such as: the health performance program, «Mawid» App, «Sehaty» App, 937 Call Center and «Wasfaty» Service, and others. Such initiatives have contributed to improving health services, meeting citizens’ needs in line with MOH’s goals within the Saudi Vision 2030.
Finally, I pray for Almighty Allah to preserve our country, its leaders and peoples, and to perpetuate the grace of security and stability.
