By Allah’s Grace, Asir Health Affairs has successfully reduced the number of referrals to advanced centers outside the region. Thanks to qualified medical professionals, who have been enhanced with necessary and cutting-edge equipment, 47 types of surgeries in several specialties that previously needed to be referred to advanced centers, have been performed at Asir Central Hospital and Abha Maternity and Children Hospital. Among the most important of these specialties are plastic surgery, neurosurgery, eye surgery, general surgery, eye surgery, orthopedic surgery, ENT surgery, urology, in addition to thoracic and cardiovascular surgery.
