MOH Calls for Benefiting from Mawid Service

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has underlined the importance of benefiting from the Central Appointment System (Mawid), which is an e-service provided by MOH to enable patients to book, cancel or reschedule their appointments at primary health care centers, as well as managing their referral appointments. The service is available via smart phone application. ​

According to MOH, the main characteristics of Mawid Service are include, enabling the beneficiary to get acquainted with the primary healthcare centers and nearest one to his location, reviewing and making appointments at the primary healthcare centers, managing the appointments, rescheduling or cancelling them, reminding the beneficiary of his appointment and alert him if an earlier appointment is available, managing other referral appointments at hospitals and booking and managing appointments for dependents. 
 
It pointed out that the primary healthcare centers undertake all preventive measures to curb the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Also, a number of on-duty healthcare centers have been devoted to provide the emergency healthcare services, as well as other centers operating 24/7 across the Kingdom. Moreover, a number of specialized clinics have been made available via Mawid app including family medicine, dental, children immunization and anti-smoking clinics.
