According to Hail Health Affairs, Hail General Hospital has launched an endoscopy unit with a capacity of 200 beds. The unit, which is enhanced with state-of-the-art devices, is expected to receive more than 50 cases per month; thus contributing to reduce waiting times for medical procedures and interventions through endoscopes in the region in general. The unit performs endoscopy procedure for esophagus, stomach, colon, rectum, bronchi, gastric feeding tube, endoscopic balloon dilatation, polypectomy, removal of foreign bodies from the bronchial and treatment of esophageal varices.
