The Endocrine & Diabetes Center in Jazan, over the first half of this year, has provided its services to 24,619 beneficiaries. The center educates patients and their families on the potential risks and symptoms that may cause high and unstable sugar level, as well as dehydration and pneumonia in case of confirmed COVID-19 infection.
Also, the center follows up the COVID-19 confirmed cases to raise their awareness of the prevention methods and to urge them to adopt special diet or amend the treating plan if necessary, by talking to their families or calling them on the phone.
