Ar Rafaie Hospital- Al-Jamsh has implemented "Your Medicine to Your Home" initiative with more than 120 beneficiaries within three months. The initiative comes as part of the preventive measures undertaking by Riyadh Health Affairs to curb the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), including preventing gatherings and providing all health services for patients and visitors. The services are provided through calling the patient experience department and providing the pharmacy with the file number and required medication prior to delivery through smart apps.
At first, the hospital’s outpatient pharmacy receives and verifies the prescription provided by the patient, before calling each patient and notifies him, through SMS, about the time of delivering the medicines and medical supplies to his home.
