Makkah: Over 76,000 Beneficiaries of Virtual Clinic Services at King Abdullah Medical City

​King Abdullah Medical City- Makkah has provided its services to more than 76,000 beneficiaries through the virtual clinics at outpatient clinics. This service comes as a part of its preventive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. ​

The service allows direct contact between doctor and patients through virtual telephone call during which the doctor checks the patient health and answer his inquiries. There are more than 626 clinics operating weekly, through SMS and phone calls with the treating doctor on the same appointment date 

The service is designated for all consulting clinics, including: cardiac health, ophthalmology, oncology, hematology, ENT, neurologic, spine surgery, orthopedic specialist clinics, specialized surgeries, oncology surgery, and finally gastrointestinal and internal diseases.
