Al-Jouf: Over 2,000 Volunteers Participate in Fighting COVID-19

According to Al-Jouf Health Affairs, around 2000 male and female volunteers have been attracted to contribute in preventing the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).  The volunteering services have reached around 100,000 beneficiaries at mosques, government agencies, central markets, popular markets, under the direct supervision of Al-Jouf General Directorate for Health Affairs. 


The volunteers work covers different fields at malls and markets as per a comprehensive plan to contribute to reducing congestion and finding appropriate distances between each person and another, in order to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. Their tasks also include educating shoppers and workers on methods of protection and the importance of using sanitizers, personal hygiene, as well as calling the 937 Call Center when having COVID-19 symptoms such as high fever, coughing or shortness of breath.
